Alfredo Angulo Knocks Out Ricardo Cortes

HINCKLEY, Minn. – It was a cold night in Minnesota, but there were two action packed, sizzling fights on Friday night’s ShoBox: The New Generation.

NOTE: WEIGHTS – Alfredo Angulo weighed 152 pounds and Ricardo Cortes tipped the scales at 153 pounds during Thursday’s weigh-in.  Mickey Bey., Jr. and Roberto Acevedo, who will be fighting in the co-feature Friday night, will weigh-in tomorrow morning.  The Minnesota State Athletic Commission will let the two boxers weigh-in tomorrow because Acevedo was a late replacement and had last minute travel arrangements.  Read the rest of this entry »
